Production Scheduler (Manufacturing exp. req.) Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Salary: $51,300 - $70,000 DOE + Overtime + Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA, 401 w/match, Holidays, Vacation Job Type: Full-Time Typical Hours: 3-4 days per week, typically 5 or 6AM – 5 or 6PM; days rotate weekly Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Production Scheduler (Manufacturing exp. req.) Description Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Production Scheduler to add to their team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be responsible for creating, adjusting, and maintaining a production plan in collaboration with the Production Supervisor that efficiently utilizes production resources to meet customer needs. The desired candidate must be willing to work a rotating shift, 36 hours one week, and 48 hours the next, with overtime compensated appropriately. Production Scheduler (Manufacturing exp. req.) Responsibilities • Develop and manage production schedules • Maintain inventory policies • Ensure orders are started on time • Communicate equipment priorities to production team • Ensure valid scheduling and compliance • Review and release work orders • Prepare production scheduling forecasts • Monitor customer requests, quality, yield, and due dates • Ensure immediate restart of material when necessary • Review requests for changes in item specifications Production Scheduler (Manufacturing exp. req.) Qualifications • 1+ years of production experience required • Manufacturing experience required • MRP and/or ERP experience preferred • Planning and Inventory Management Certification a plus • Must be computer literate
