Our client in the biotechnology industry is looking for a Plant Operations Engineer to add to their team in Portland, Maine. Reporting to the Facilities and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing utilities and equipment at a soon-to-be FDA-approved vaccine manufacturing facility. An ideal candidate will have at least five years of facility maintenance experience and be a licensed high-pressure boiler operator in the state of Maine. If unlicensed, our client is willing to pay for licensing, eventually to include a stationary steam engineer license. These licenses will allow you to ultimately grow into a leadership role, as our client is looking to invest in someone willing to manage the plant facility in time. This is an excellent opportunity with a pathway to promotion that allows you to help bring the current facility up to FDA approval, which will eventually be yours to manage.
