Our client, a leading sporting goods manufacturer, is looking for a Reconditioning Operations Manager to add to their team near Indianapolis, IN. You will be responsible for the success of day-to-day operations, P&L, and managing cross-functional needs that support the organization’s financial, legal, and production goals. In this role, you will lead the Reconditioning Operations, focusing on continuous improvement and establishing consistent processes and LEAN initiatives. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in Hardgoods Reconditioning and a strong knowledge of reconditioning processes. Operations Manager (Reconditioning Services exp req) Responsibilities ● Develop and manage Lean initiatives within the facility ● Establish annual goals, objectives, and P&L plan for annual performance to objectives ● Recruit and train new resources ● Manage staff performance through effective KPIs, targets, and goal-setting ● Ensure that team performance, and delivery meets or exceeds internal and contractual goals ● Present production reports and metrics to the COO ● Select and evaluate optimal contract manufacturing, services, and assembly partners ● Maintain general oversight of all records related to administration and accounting ● Oversee quality, continuous improvement, and inventory and work order management ● Provide recommendations to leadership regarding high-cost operational investments ● Ensure the facility is compliant with all aspects of labor, safety, and emergency preparedness ● Maintain conduct consistent with company values at all times
