Our client is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team outside of Atlanta in Buford, GA. The role is responsible for supervising all accounting and finance operations, ensuring precise ledger and journal entries, leading financial budgeting and forecasting efforts, and ensuring compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. Although 60% of your time will be spent on higher level reporting and analysis, you’ll still play a key role in more of the daily accounting operations. You’ll have a strong foundation and support from their seasoned A/P and A/R Specialists who you’ll be overseeing. Although you will benefit from a well-rounded team, our client is looking for a seasoned accounting professional who can just as easily pivot from evaluating a P&L statement to rolling up their sleeves and doing transactions themselves if needed. That’s why they’re looking for an agile, flexible finance leader who is looking to leverage the depth and breadth of their finance background to help shape the financial direction of their company.
