Our client in the IT services industry is looking for a Structured Cabling Estimator to add to their team and to support commercial customers in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. In this role, you will discuss on-premises communication and security system needs with customers and develop quotes for turn-key systems to meet those needs. After projects are won, you will maintain communication with customers by answering questions, following up, and otherwise assuring the customers' needs are met. Much of the work can be done from home, but on-site visits to customer locations in the Central and Eastern Pennsylvania area are required as needed. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is self-motivated, and has experience with commercial structured cabling for communication and security systems. Estimator, Structured Cabling (Low Voltage, Communication or Security Systems) Responsibilities • Respond to bid specifications for communications and security system needs • Develop scope of work and schedule for the project • Act as a liaison between the sales, project manager, and operations to transition projects • Develop quotes for turn-key systems • Answer customer inquiries and follow-ups • Conduct site visits to customer locations
