Our client, a leader in the design and engineering industry, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of all engineering aspects for energy-efficient commercial projects, guiding them from conceptual design to final completion. This opportunity is ideal for a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with at least five (5) years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in the design of wood and/or steel structures. Candidates with experience on small to mid-size commercial construction projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, as well as internal and external teams, will thrive in this role. To succeed, you must be organized, proactive, and skilled in identifying and resolving issues while demonstrating strong communication and project management capabilities.
