Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller

Our client in the consumer goods industry is looking for a hands-on Accountant to add to their team in New York, NY. Reporting to the Controller, you will support the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing financial reports in collaboration with the accounting team to ensure timely deliverables. Our client is looking for someone with at least four (4) years of accounting experience in the consumer goods or manufacturing industry, with experience helping create month-end financial reports, reconciliations, and balance sheets. To be successful in this role, you must have an analytical mindset with an understanding of inventory, costing, and gross profits. This is a great hands-on opportunity to join an established but growing organization, with an immediate and direct impact, under the mentorship and guidance of the CFO.
