Our client in the engineering and manufacturing industry is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to add to their team in San Diego, CA. As the department manager and a key contributor in the company’s growth, you will be responsible for the vision, strategy and implementation of sales and business development tactics directed at taking the company from passive based sales to active selling and creating inside/outside sales teams from the ground up. Our client is looking for a self-motivated leader with at least five years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial sales. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience with inside and outside sales as an individual contributor selling custom hard goods and/or technical product lines, as well as the development of distributor agreements. To be successful in this role, you must be proactive and motivated by the opportunity to grow and build your own sales department.
