Our client in retail signage, fixtures and displays manufacturing, is looking for an experienced and highly self-motivated Territory Account Executive to add to their team. This position will be responsible for Point-of-Purchase (POP) Accounts in the company’s Midwest region. Ideal candidates will have success and experience in business-to-business sales and business development in retail merchandising solutions for POP displays/fixtures. In order to be successful in this role you must possess excellent selling and negotiating skills, ability to multitask and be based out of a major metropolitan area within the territory. Territory Account Executive [Retail Merchandising Solutions, Displays exp. req.] Responsibilities
Develop and maintain key customer accounts
Understand the business and brand of assigned key accounts in territory
Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives to achieve sales goals
Provide innovative sales and marketing solutions to meet customer needs
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of available products and services
Assist customers with the creation of retail merchandising display solutions
Maintain a productive travel schedule within assigned territory
Participate in trade shows and manage product displays and demonstrate products
Improve market penetration; expand customer base and build a network of contacts
Work with the President to establish sales goals and forecasts
Communicate customer product specifications and projected needs
Enter projects, updating with changes as needed, in the project database
