Payroll Specialist

Our client in the wholesale industry is looking for a reliable Payroll Specialist to add to their team in Decatur, Michigan. Initially, this will be an in-office position, but after 6-12 months, there will be the possibility of up to 2 days remote per week. In this role, you will be responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll, overseeing time and attendance, and supporting HR with system updates related to employee enrollment, termination, or modification. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll experience and a working knowledge of payroll taxes and legal requirements. To succeed, you must be a fast learner that is detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to identify potential issues to be addressed before processing payroll.
