Our client in the association management industry is looking for a Meeting and Event Planner to add to their team. Although about 90% of your time will be working from your home office, candidates must be within driving distance of Minneapolis to support local client events and meetings. You will partner with their clients, both professional and trade associations, as well as internal teams to coordinate, manage, and execute local and national events throughout each year. These events will range from 50-person lunch meetings to an attendance of over 500 for national, multi-day events that take place a few times throughout the year. You’ll be successful if pride yourself on being creative and resourceful when tending to and solving complex problems with a variety of variables in new situations. Although 60% of your time will be focused on event planning, it’s important to note you’ll serve as a point of contact for volunteers of their associations.
