Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join their four-person accounting team in Mount Pleasant, WI. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for general accounting initiatives such as general ledger, accounts payable, cash entries, ACH transactions, etc. Additionally, 10-20% of your time will be spent supporting HR administrative functions such as processing benefits and new employee paperwork. To be chosen for this role, you must have three years of accounting experience. Although you will be supporting cost accounting initiatives and HR functions, our client will provide training for both if you do not have experience. Beyond the bullets below, our client is looking for a candidate who would enjoy working with a smaller team where your impact and contributions will be visible and appreciated without the bureaucracy of a larger organization. After around two months after you have fully assimilated into the role, you will be able to work from home two-three days out of the week.
