Human Resources Generalist

Our client in the wholesale food service industry is looking for a HR Generalist to add to their team in Lodi, New Jersey. In this position, you will support Human Resources functions for roughly 350 employees across 6 locations with a primary focus on payroll, compliance, and benefits. You will also have exposure to and provide secondary support for recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, eager to learn, and have a strong understanding of payroll compliance, employment law, and compensation. Benefits coordination experience is a plus. To be successful in the position, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local department of labor laws and have a proven track record of processing accurate payroll.
