Our client is looking for a Coffee Shop Manager to oversee their location in Providence, RI. They’re a small, privately owned company with retail locations and a warehouse for their personally crafted specialty coffee. Their owner has been in business for over 20 years and has recently remodeled this location as their flagship store. He’s looking for a proven leader in the retail or food services space who is looking for an opportunity to make more of an impact in a smaller-scale operation. You’ll be a great addition if you can balance giving the right amount of positive reinforcement while still knowing when and how to have the tough conversations to ensure you’re getting the right performance out of each team member. Someone who enjoys being hands-on and doesn’t want to lose their personal touch with customers. You’ll hire new staff (3-4 team members) for this location as it gets ready to re-open. You’ll be empowered to run this store as if it were your own business. Their owner prides himself on being approachable and accessible. He’ll give you the guidance to succeed without micromanaging your every move. He’s excited to find this next leader and with future expansion in mind, upward mobility potential awaits.
