Our client, a medium-sized wholesale company based in Fort Lee, NJ, is seeking to hire its first Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the organization, including business finances, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and financial reporting. Additionally, you will manage and oversee crucial daily cash flow tasks. As the company evolves, you will have the opportunity to establish and document bookkeeping policies and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations. As the company continues to grow, your responsibilities will expand to include more complex financial management tasks, such as handling acquisitions and guiding mergers into new financial structures. You will also play a key role in building the structure of the finance department and hiring accounting staff.
