Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to add to their team in McKinney, TX to support their consulting projects for their clients within the manufacturing industry. This position offers work-from-home flexibility up to 80%, but you still must be within driving distance to McKinney to report to their office in person 1-2 days each week. You will be responsible for drawing, designing, and redesigning control panels according to schedule, quality parameters, customer requirements, and manufacturing capabilities. To be considered for this role, you must be able to research, specify, and manage project materials as required, as well as coordinate materials that meet NFPA 70 and UL 508A standards. You must have a thorough knowledge of control panel fabrication practices and hazardous locations for NFPA & IEC to be successful in this role.
