Controls Engineer

Our client is looking for a Controls Engineer to add to their team in Dallas, TX. You will develop custom PLC and HMI programs and designs for pre-packaged pumping stations for different applications such as, water boosters, HVAC and HX systems, fire protection pump systems, etc. You will work with the electrical engineering team to produce electrical schematics and collaborate with the production team for the manufacture and testing of control panels in addition to providing technical support both remotely, and on-site at customer locations. Qualified candidates will have at least two (2) years of PLC programming, ladder and relay logic experience and with commercial/industrial pump systems, boilers, or fan equipment. Candidates must also have technical knowledge/experience with hydraulics, valves, boilers, etc. and an understanding of the mechanical components within them. To be successful, you must understand the operation of pump systems and corresponding control valves and instrumentation.
