Our client in the consulting industry is looking for a Controller to add to their team in Stamford, CT. This is an on-site position with the flexibility to work from home one day per week. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee and support a team (3 direct, 4 indirect), comprised of professionals handling day-to-day activity related to the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background that includes team management, GAAP, financial statements, and ensuring efficiencies in daily accounting operations. Accounting experience related to consulting or advisory services is preferred but not required. To be successful, you must be a strong communicator and mentor willing to roll up your sleeves in a very hands-on and fast-paced environment.
