Our client, a manufacturing company with a global footprint, is looking for a Controller to join their team in Westchester County, NY. You’ll have the best of both worlds in this role, the stability of a larger company with a track record of generational success coupled with the flexibility and growth-mindset of a smaller company. Quicker decision times, less bureaucratic tape, and more opportunity to offer strategic insight that leads to change. This position lives at the intersection of tactical execution and long-term strategic planning. About 70% of your time will be spent in a hands-on capacity supporting month-end closing, GL reconciliation, and financial reporting. You’ll have a strong foundation and support from their seasoned A/P and A/R Specialists who you’ll be overseeing. Although you will benefit from a tenured team, they’re looking for a seasoned accounting professional who can just as easily pivot from evaluating a P&L statement to rolling up their sleeves and doing transactions themselves.
