Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Buyer/Planner to join their small team of 6 in Oak Creek, WI. This is an onsite position. Although you will be supporting both purchasing and planning, this will not be an intense, overwhelming workload because of the scale of their facility. At most, you’ll enter 20 POs throughout the week with the balance of your time spent setting up new part numbers, tracking projects, and communicating with the team members on the shop floor. Our client is looking for a candidate who would enjoy working with a smaller team where your impact and contributions will be visible and appreciated without the bureaucracy of a larger organization. You will have the benefit of being mentored by a manager who knows each facet of the operation and is truly excited to share her knowledge, processes, and overall recipe for success. After all, she’s been with the company for years and was promoted to this position, so she knows how important it is to set someone up for success.
