Our client in the wholesale food service industry is looking for a well-organized Buyer to add to their team in Bergen County, New Jersey. This hybrid role requires 2-4 days in the office per week, with the balance of the week remote. You will develop and improve the global sourcing strategy for your assigned product category consisting of housewares, bakeware, and plastic storage items. Candidates with buying experience from any related industry involving plastics and metal are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, prior experience working with an Asia-Pacific supply base, and an ability to apply best practices. To be successful in the role, you must be proactive, have strong negotiation skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
