Our client in the medical and drug device manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to add to their team in Carlsbad, CA. As the first person in their new west coast territory, your primary responsibility will be to grow revenue by locating, developing, negotiating and closing business for both the contract manufacturing and design/development areas of the company. Our client is looking for someone with a technical degree and at least five years of experience in selling contract design/development and manufacturing as a service for medical and/or drug delivery device components, pieces or parts. Ideal candidates will have a technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset, strong negotiating and relationship building skills and possess a relevant network or contact base.
