Bookkeeper - Part-Time

Our client is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team in Madison, WI. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring accuracy across financial reporting. You will play a key role in a supporting accounting for a company that has had double-digit growth over the last five years. With current revenue at $40m, they’re projected to be a $100m company within the next few years. To be chosen for this role, you must have two years of accounts payable experience. Aside from the bullets below, they’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented team member who would enjoy a casual, collaborative environment. Their CFO who joined the team in 2023 has made a great impact on streamlining processes and is looking for a like-minded individual to help in optimizing workflow. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours with a stable company that prioritizes their employee engagement.  Important note: Our client’s core hours are M-F from 8 AM – 5 PM. You will have flexibility in building your schedule during their operating hours. Whether you prefer to work M-F with 5-hour days or 3 days per week with an 8-hour day, our client is flexible around your targeted schedule. For candidates working 5 days per week, you’ll have hybrid flexibility 2 days per week and candidates who work 3 days, you’ll have 1-day WFH per week.
