Our client in the equipment industry is looking for a hands-on Assistant Controller to add to their team in Blue Island, IL. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week after an initial ~month of training. This opportunity offers a mix of strategic oversight and hands-on accounting, involving financial reporting and staff development (team size: 4-5). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a well-rounded accounting background including inventory, AR, & AP. To be successful, you must be able to evaluate the big picture and be a strong communicator that is well-prepared with data to support business decisions.
