Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Sugar Land, TX. You’ll be taking over for the previous AR Specialist who was recently promoted. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you’ll be responsible for processing cash receipts and working with accounting teams across their various plant locations to resolve any discrepancies. What is unique about our client is they are a $275m company but have a relatively small list of customers making their process and business model much more streamlined. For instance, they have cash payments on the same day and use automated systems for the 100+ invoices they’re typically seeing each day. So, although the volume is higher, the process is efficient and manageable. Another perk is that their largest client is one of their sister companies making collections almost a nonexistent feature of the role. Because of their reporting style, you’ll spend a lot of time using Excel reviewing variances and applying credits making experience with VLOOKUPS a must to be chosen for this role.
