Our client is looking for a Wildlife Field Biologist to join their small but growing team at headquarters near Concord, CA or remotely from the San Joaquin Valley. You will be responsible for conducting field surveys for special-status and endangered species as well as biological monitoring of construction and excavation activities. Qualified candidates must have at least three (3) years of professional identification, data collection, and survey experience of California’s special-status and/or state/federally listed species, native to the Bay area or San Joaquin Valley, and their habitat requirements. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic field conditions, often in remote locations and varying weather conditions and possess a commitment to wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, and ethical research practices.
