Our client is looking for a Transportation Manager to join their Team in Springfield, MA. Their Team operates 40 tractor trailers for their no-touch freight operations. Our client’s culture is truly unique. Out of almost 100 employees, their average tenure is 12 years of service. Their driver turnover is only 11% (two of those retirements). That’s why personality is key. Someone with a calm communication style would be a great culture fit. You’ll be taking over from their Operation and HR Leaders who have been overseeing safety and training programs for their transportation and warehousing operations. As their business continues to expand, they’re looking for a team member to be dedicated to implementing training programs while ensuring continued federal compliance. They’ve cultivated a safety-focused atmosphere, so you’ll benefit from an environment with the right foundation already in place. You’ll split your time between performing road tests and driver assessments with training opportunities within their warehouses. If you have a strong background navigating FMCSA, our client can get you up to speed quickly on warehousing best practices.
