Sr Accounts Receivable Accountant

Our client in the environmental consulting industry is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to focus on Accounts Receivable. In this fully remote role, you will prepare complex invoices for consulting activities and then post, verify, and record client payments. This position is unique since the invoice volume is low compared to traditional A/R positions, but the complexity requires a special skill set to analyze customer arrangements and transactions to ensure correct revenue recognition. Minimal collection calls will be required. The ideal candidate will have A/R experience that is applicable to the position, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.
