Service Writer – Commercial Trucking

Our client, a commercial towing and repair shop, is looking for a Service Writer to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and the repair team, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation of service requests. You will support job quoting, parts purchasing, and billing activities. Throughout each week, their shop typically works on 15-25 ongoing jobs with 2-5 new trucks coming in daily. Whether your automotive knowledge is from a car dealership or a commercial fleet environment, this would be an excellent fit for someone with a passion for all things automotive. Someone who has a basic understanding of vehicle repairs. Because our client has a smaller team, what they lack in upward mobility they make up for with a positive, easy-going culture.
