Senior Director of Programs

Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is seeking a mission-driven Senior Director of Programs to join their leadership team in either Phoenix, AZ or Rapid City, SD. This hybrid position requires two days per week onsite and offers the opportunity to lead and elevate program operations that provide both immediate aid and long-term solutions to underserved communities. In this role, you will oversee all programmatic functions, including strategy development, team management, warehouse and facility operations, and procurement of donated goods, especially gifts-in-kind (GIK). Managing teams across two locations, this leader will supervise four direct reports and ensure the successful execution of services across 30+ staff. A core part of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with our client’s partners, community leaders, and internal departments such as Development and Finance. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of leadership experience, deep knowledge of Indian Country, and a proven track record of managing hybrid or remote teams. Prior experience with logistics, nonprofit programs, or social impact work is highly valued.
