Our client in the association management industry is looking for a Sr. Association Executive/Executive Director to add to their team in Minneapolis. Although 90% of your time (if not more) will be working from your home office, candidates must be within driving distance of Minneapolis to support onsite client events and meetings. You will partner with their clients, both professional and trade associations, and act as an extension of their executive team. You’ll provide strategic direction to sustain and expand organizational objectives and outcomes including committee management, membership recruiting, budget planning, and board governance. You must be innovative and resourceful when tending to and solving practical and complex problems with a variety of variables in new situations. You will be challenged but ultimately supported. You will have the autonomy and the trust to set your own agenda while still having the resources to be successful.
