Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for a Lead Manual QA Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. This is your chance to join a global company that has been a trailblazer in its industry. Although our client prefers candidates to be in the Austin area for very infrequent meetings at their HQ, this role can be fully remote anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for owning the QA process for their products, from User Story definition through to testing and release. They are looking to build their automation process in the future, but this role will skew much more toward manual testing. To be chosen for this role, you must have a QA background in eCommerce applications where you’ve played a very hands-on role in your projects. Additionally, a candidate who would be excited to work with a company that is scaling up its US team to instill best practices around SDLC and improve how they manage their environments prior to production. They know they need to evolve and are looking to empower new team members to help. If you want to come into a place where the process is already established, this isn’t going to be the right fit.
