Our client in the scientific research industry is looking for a Lab Assistant to add to their team providing non-clinical drug development services to the biopharmaceutical industry in Beltsville, Maryland. As part of the growing Drug Discovery division, you will be helping in carrying out research projects using human tissue as a test system to predict the safety and effectiveness of potential new drugs. Our client is looking for an individual with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences with experience in pharmacology research in a lab-based environment. Academic or internship experience is welcome. This role is a great introduction to contract research, offering both professional growth in transferable skills and personal reward from helping to develop new medicines.
