International Buyer / Import Purchasing Agent

Our client is seeking an International Buyer to join their team at one of their U.S. locations (near Kansas City, MO or in Reading, PA). In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow and cost of imported products to replenish inventory across multiple sites. Using data-driven analysis and calculated decision-making, you will work to optimize inventory profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of international buying or import purchasing experience, with a solid understanding of international freight and logistics in supply chain. To be successful, you must be an independent, forward-thinking professional with strong negotiation skills when working with international suppliers.
