Our client, a project-based automation company, is looking for a passionate and team-orientated Controls Engineer to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. You will be responsible for programming, debugging, and commissioning as well as electrical hardware design. Whether you have a few years of experience after pursuing technical certification/education or had many years of on-the-job training in lieu of a formal degree, our client is looking for someone with a hands-on systems integration background who would be excited to work on a variety of projects. You’ll be working on PLCs, robotics, vision controllers, VFDs, Servos, Field IO wiring, etc. so you’ll have a fun sandbox to play in while working with a tenured, close-knit team. Because they’re a smaller group of 11 engineers, you’ll have much more exposure and variation in your day-to-day and for the areas you have yet to learn, they’re excited to provide you the resources and training to expand your scope of competency.
