Human Resources Generalist

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to add to their team in White Plains, New York. Reporting to the Business Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks including recruiting initiatives, general HR compliance, government agency compliance, candidate sourcing, screening, information verification, and onboarding processes. As a main point of contact for HR related employee inquiries, you will ensure that HR operations run smoothly and effectively as well as manage employee databases, worker compensation, benefits, and unemployment claims. To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of employment/labor laws and HRIS systems, as well as good communication and problem-solving skills.
