Our client in the specialty foods and wines industry is looking for a Food Market Manager to add to their team in Jersey City, NJ. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing store operations, and the in-store cafe. This includes attending to customers, making recommendations, managing inventory, planning tasting events, leading the development of menu options, and procuring specialty foods, gifts, and wines to sell in the store. – identifying food sources, establishing pricing, merchandising of food items, and sourcing of necessary food service items. Ideal candidates will have experience in the specialty foods and wines industry, be passionate about specialty foods, gifts, and wines, and have a general enthusiasm for offering an amazing customer experience.
