Director of Water Quality and Service Delivery

Our client is a non-profit specializing in drinking water treatment and is looking for a Director of Water Quality to add to their team in Tamale, Ghana. You will be responsible for managing the company's water quality laboratory, overseeing the customer service team, mentoring, training, and supporting the operations manager. As the Director, you will have the opportunity to shape a new department from scratch by utilizing your leadership and technical expertise. In addition, you will work closely with the Executive Director to create an operational strategy, including customer care goals. To be successful in this role, you must have hands on experience conducting water quality testing, ideally for physical, microbial, and chemical parameters. Our client is looking for someone with water quality expertise and connections in Ghana in the WASH sector who has at least five years of experience directly managing people with effective communication and leadership qualities who can integrate into the team. Beyond that, experience with data collection and analysis is essential to be successful in this role, in addition to computer and smartphone skills.
