Our client is looking for a Director of Sales to add to their team in San Diego, CA. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 in managing the entire sales, and events programs of the entire property including restaurants, and affiliated businesses. This position creates and fosters an environment of growth with dynamic selling skills to meet the financial needs of the organization and surpasses the client expectations. Our client is looking for someone with at least 5 years of sales and team leadership/management experience in venues related to entertainment, tourism, or hospitality. If you have a background in being creative to sell unique event spaces and experiences, then you could be a great fit! To be successful in this role, you must have experience coaching and mentoring a small team in addition to managing a sales department budget.
