Associate Product Manager - SaaS

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join their team in Austin, TX. This position offers work from home flexibility 3-4 days per week. Working closely with the product and engineering teams, you’ll work to create software solutions used every day by worldwide sports brands. You will take ownership of important problems, ultimately overseeing each from their inception to deployment. At the core of this position, you will be writing user stories with acceptance criteria. So, a willingness to take on any problem small or large while working with internal team members who are truly their biggest customers, is a must. Ideal candidates are part empath, part problem solver; adept at finding the problem behind the problem. Although our client is in SaaS, a hands-on technical background is not a must. However, you must be comfortable still asking the right questions, picking up the “language”, and challenging engineering teams to understand whether each solution being presented is just that person’s preference or just how it should actually be done. Beyond the bullets below, our client is looking for a candidate who prides themselves on having a patient, consultative approach when trying to understand the problem from each user’s perspective.
