Our client is an outsourced advisory firm, but they’re open to strong corporate accounting candidates who want to diversify their experience by managing multiple clients across different industries. You’ll get the variety of client work without the demanding hours typically associated with public accounting.

As an Assistant Controller, you’ll oversee a portfolio of 5–6 clients, typically supporting businesses ranging from under $1M to $10M in revenue. You’ll be hands-on with full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close, while also serving as a financial partner to clients and helping them make informed business decisions. Depending on the client, you may manage the accounting and client relationship directly, oversee a Staff Accountant supporting you, or partner closely with the firm’s CFO on higher-level financial matters.
