Our client is looking for an Accountant to add to their team in Clearwater, FL. You will be responsible for providing accounting review and support to accounting staff within the facility network. In addition, you will review financial activities and transactions to ensure GAAP compliance and procedural accuracy. This is not a day-to-day accounting role; you will ensure dotted-line processes are followed and provide policy and procedural guidance to bookkeepers within the facility network. Ideal candidates will have accounting experience, the ability to effectively guide and communicate with a team, and the ability to travel a few days per month to visit facilities within the region.
